KTM 890 Duke R
This motorcycle breathes fire and it is a no-compromise mid-weight naked bike, equally at home on mountain roads as it is on the race track, delivering more power, more torque and more dukeness than any parallel twin that has come before. I had a blast during the photo session and editing the photos. You find the article and more photos in MC Avisa issue 2020/9.
Ducati Panigale V4S
The aim was to get some great action- and still photos of the bike for an article in the Norwegian magazine MC Avisa. We were lucky with the weather and we had a fun time creating them.
Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc. was established in 1990 when Monte Warne, the founder, created his first Chevy V-8 powered motorcycle. I had the pleasure of going on a ride with an experienced driver one of these during the photoshoot and it was great fun. What a sound! The photos are in MC Avisa issue 1/20.
Ducati Multistrada 1260
This photo session landed me my first full cover photo on the Norwegian MC magazine, MC Avisa (issue 8/19).
Zero produces high performance electric motorcycles that are lightweight, efficient, fast off the line and fun to ride. The aim for this project was to capture the essence of this bike and deliver some sharp photos for an article in MC Avisa. Zero loaded a van with this bike in the Netherland and drove it all the way to Rudskogen racetrack in Norway. I had this one chance to capture it before it were to be returned. We had great weather and a lot of fun and the photos turned out as they should. The are in MC Avisa issue 7/19.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso RC
The aim was to get some good photos for an article in MC Avis. As usual I gave them a lot more photos than seen here, and with less cropping so they could adjust this themselves. The photos were accepted and are to be found in issue 6/19.
Harley-Davidson Fat Bob 2018
I had a great time capturing these moments and I also enjoyed editing and colour grading them to give them a more timeless, cinematic feeling.
Ducati Multistrada 950 S
This project inspired me to test out more editing than before and the last photo is a composite work made from four photos in Adobe Photoshop.
KTM 790 Adventure
Here I have experimented again with colour grading of some of the photos. The magazine got a lot more photos than this, and with less narrow cropping, so they could decide themselves how to crop etc.
This was one of my first photoshoots of a motorcycle in motion. We had not picked the best location and I also did not use the best camera settings because I was unexperienced with this. So in retrospect I would have done a lot different, but at least the bike was sharp and with a lot of photoshopping the background was less disturbing. The magazine, MC Avisa, got a lot more photos than this, with a more "natural edit" and with less narrow cropping, so they could decide themselves how to crop etc. The photos were accepted and used in issue 5/19.
Suzuki V-Strom 1000
Ideally all photos that I deliver to a client should have the same colour grading. These images were taken a couple of years ago and I was experimenting here with different looks, so that is why these are not all look-alike. Bright, yellow, dark, desaturated etc...
